You will spend the day with one of our talented student represent atives. They will pick you up on the day of the event at 11:00 in the entrance hall of the Wijnhaven building (Turfmarkt 99, The Hague). The representative will lead the way to the lecture room (2.01). And then your very first lecture starts!
This semester we offer different days, so you can experience the classes Introduction to Comparative Politics (Block 3) and Politics of the European Union (Block 4). The group will sit together in the lecture, and you can either just listen and observe, take notes, or even participate and ask questions to the professor if you would like to.
Besides the lecture, the student representative will show you around the Wijnhaven Campus. You will see the library, study areas, seminar rooms, computer rooms, the bike garage, the cafeteria and café, as well as the yard, where students have their lunches in summer and relax in the sun!
You will also listen to a short presentation about the program structure, what it is like to be an IRO student, to live in The Hague, what are the classes and courses taught, how to master the application procedure, and possible career paths. The presentation will be followed by a short Q&A session where you will be able to ask all your burning questions. The event ends at 15:00.
